Use the same Apple Account
Sign in to the same iCloud Apple Account on each device and enable iCloud Drive for GTR Player. Your personal Library uses iCloud when it is available, with local storage otherwise. GTR Player does not send your music to a developer music server.
Set up iPad or iPhone
Open Settings → your name → iCloud → Drive and turn on Sync this device. Allow GTR Player in the apps using iCloud Drive. The exact labels can vary with your system version.
Set up Mac
Open System Settings → your name → iCloud → Drive. Enable Sync this Mac and allow GTR Player in the apps using iCloud Drive. Open Apple’s iCloud Drive setup guide →
Wait for songs to download
Keep an internet connection available while changes sync. A song must be downloaded to the device before you can practise offline. Large audio files may take longer to arrive. Check available device and iCloud storage if a song has not appeared.
Other cloud providers
You can import a downloaded compatible file from another provider through Files or Finder. Another provider does not automatically sync the in-app Library between devices; automatic Library syncing uses iCloud.
Your subscription and your Library
One annual subscription unlocks unlimited imports across supported Macs, iPads and iPhones using the same Apple Account for App Store purchases. Restore Purchases restores that entitlement. Your Library syncs separately through your iCloud account; restoring a purchase does not download or recover missing song files.
The free edition keeps up to 10 imported songs with all edits saved. The 48 included backing tracks are separate. App Store downloads remain Coming soon while testing is completed.
